Desre Nieuwoudt : Love, respect and gratitude to this living legend as he convenes his final Senior Assembly at Rand Park Primary School. The years, months, days of dedication will forever be etched into the fabric of the school from before the days of inclusion to where we are today, in the new South Africa. Mr. Pienaar presided as teacher and then leader of our school, over a period of massive socio economic and political changes in our country though a global pandemic and many more upheavals and challenges. His legacy is profound, his values unmistakable. His leadership remained consistently focused on continuous quality improvements and progress, inclusion and opportunities for our children. Samantha Dunbar Physio and Biokinetics : Farewell Message to Mr. Pienaar

It is with immense gratitude and heartfelt appreciation that we bid farewell to Mr. Pienaar, who has served as Headmaster from 2012 to 2025.

Over these years, he has not only led our school with dedication and vision but has profoundly impacted the lives of countless learners, families, and the wider community. His commitment to academic excellence has uplifted standards and opened doors of opportunity for our children, while his passion for sport has inspired teamwork, resilience, and school pride on the playing fields.

Beyond academics and sport, Mr. Pienaar has instilled in our children the values and morals that will guide them throughout life—respect, integrity, perseverance, and kindness. He has led by example, always with fairness and a genuine care for every learner.

The legacy he leaves behind is one of growth, unity, and excellence. His influence will be felt for many years to come in the achievements of our students and in the character of the young men and women who pass through these gates.
