We wanted to share the Farewell Speech from our Head Boy and Head Girl! They did a fabulous job!
Presented by the Mukona Muthelo (Head Boy) and Keira Wilson (Head Girl)
[Mukona:] Good morning honoured guests, teachers and learners. Today, we gather not only to celebrate a remarkable career but to honour a leader who has shaped our school in ways that will be remembered for years to come.
[Keira:] Mr. Pienaar, as our principal, you have led with strength, purpose, and unwavering dedication. You have held high standards, not only for your staff and learners, but for the school itself—and the results speak for themselves. Our school stands tall, proud, and successful, thanks in large part to your leadership.
[Mukona:] You are known for your firm approach and your clear expectations, but also for your deep commitment to excellence. Whether it was ensuring the school grounds remained clean and well-maintained, or overseeing countless building and renovation projects, you always found ways to improve our environment and make it better for everyone.
[Keira:] Your passion for order and discipline has taught us all valuable lessons about responsibility, respect, and pride in our school. While your high standards may have seemed strict at times, we now understand that they came from a place of care and commitment to helping each learner reach their full potential.
[Mukona:] Beyond the school walls, you are also known for your personal passions—your love of motorbikes, your dedication to fitness, and your unmatched energy. It’s no surprise that a man who builds strong schools also builds strong muscles!
[Keira:] As you prepare to step into retirement, we hope you take with you the satisfaction of a job not just well done—but exceptionally done. Your impact is seen in every classroom, every corridor, and in every learner who has walked through these gates under your guidance.
[Mukona:] Although today marks the end of your time as our principal, your legacy will remain firmly in place. You have built more than just buildings—you have built a community.
[Keira:] On behalf of all the learners, past and present, we thank you, Mr. Pienaar. Thank you for your vision, your strength, and your tireless service to our school.
[Together:] We wish you all the best in your retirement, and we will carry your example with us always.
Thank you and Happy birthday Mr Pienaar !
