Your last assembly was truly unforgettable. The emotions were palpable among the children—some sobbing their hearts out, others doing their best to hold it together. One of the most touching moments was when all the grades joined the Choir to sing “Kaptein, span die seile.”
We were also joined online by former parents, staff, friends, and pupils from all over the world, some as far as New Zealand, making this final assembly even more special. The moment was deeply moving for teachers, staff, and of course you and your family, especially your wife, wiping away tears of pride. And amidst the emotion, we all had some great laughs as well.
